As a USCG Master Captain, seasoned naturalist, and former commercial fisherman, he offers a unique perspective on Florida’s wild landscapes and rich ecosystems. With a deep respect for the environment and a passion for sharing it, Capt. John delivers tours that are as educational as they are unforgettable.

Are your tours family-friendly?

Yes! Our tours are designed with families in mind. We welcome guests of all ages and provide child-sized life jackets. The experience is both exciting and educational, making it perfect for kids and adults alike.

What's the difference between Marsh Beast and Florida Cracker Airboats?

Marsh Beast Airboat Rides is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups who want to join a shared eco-tour.

Florida Cracker Airboats offers private tours reserved just for your group — great for families, reunions, or special occasions.

What kind of wildlife will we see?

You may spot alligators, turtles, wading birds, hawks, and more! While we can’t guarantee sightings, our experienced captains know the best places to look.

How long is the tour?

Tours last 50 minutes, depending on weather and water conditions. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time. 

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking ahead, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

What should we bring?

We suggest bringing:

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen 

  • A hat or visor

  • Water or snacks (no coolers allowed on the boat)

  • A camera or phone for photos

Ear protection and life jackets are provided.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. All tours are operated by USCG-licensed captains, and safety is our top priority. We conduct regular equipment checks and provide a safety briefing before every ride.

Are there age or weight restrictions?

There’s no minimum age, but children must be able to sit safely on a bench seat with a life jacket. No infants, and children are not allowed to ride in an adult’s lap.  Please contact us ahead of time for guests with special needs or concerns.

What happens in bad weather?

For safety, tours may be delayed or rescheduled due to lightning, high winds, or heavy rain. We’ll work with you to rebook or offer a refund if needed.

We operate just off I-95, near Vero Beach and Yeehaw Junction, with tours exploring the scenic waters of Blue Cypress Lake, Stick Marsh/Farm 13, and Kenansville Lake.
