We actually went in a Gator Bait boat. Captain Garrett was a great host. We saw gators, including a gator nest guarded by the momma (lower left of the picture, just her head sticking out of the water), lots of birds (Ospreys my fav, upper right branch in single tree pic). But the highlight for me was just taking the boat ride and seeing the scenery.

We absolutely loved our tour. Captain John was super knowledgeable, funny and hospitable. We saw dozens of gators, from tiny babies to big daddies nearing 12’ long! And the setting was absolutely gorgeous. 10/10!

April 23, 2025This morning we had the opportunity to go on the Marsh Beast Air Boat tour! As we walked up Captain John greeted us enthusiastically! He had a great personality, lots of experience and put us right on the alligators. We probably saw at least 15 alligators as well as a lot of other wildlife. His knowledge of all of the species of animals that reside in the marsh and his great personality made for a great adventure!!
